Amazon’s open-world MMORPG has had a bumpy road to date, but it seems as if development may be smoothing out. Alpha testing resumed in October after the devs processed “a ton of data and feedback from Preview,” and IGN recently posted a video showcasing some of the PvE combat we can expect to see when the game launches. The new Secrets of the Swamp update gives alpha testers a new zone to roam, along with plenty of new skills to try, and creatures to try them on. This seems to be a good sign that the game is now progressing on a positive path.

Amazon’s New World MMO will apparently have an intricately detailed war system, based on the company’s latest post about the game. As part of New World’s Developer Diary Series, Amazon has revealed how players will be able to wage war against each other and showed off the siege platforms and traps they can use.

Plenty of streamers, including MMO-aficionados Asmongold and Sebastian ‘Forsen’ Fors have been trying out New World, helping to make it one of the most-watched games on the site since the beta opened up.
