In this second post of the Making the Game series, I will present a brief design outline for the game we will be working on, as well as cover a few of the basic technical concepts of addon programming to get us started. Buying cheaper WoW Gold is not an easy job.
A game design document can be seen as the foundation, or blueprint of the developer's goals for the game. Our document may turn out to be slightly malleable as time goes on, but a quick outline of it should serve as a good starting point in WoW.
Primal Defense is a single-player "tower defense" mini-game for the MMORPG World of Warcraft. In the game, the player will assume the role of defending his/her temple from waves of assaults containing a variety of enemy factions and creatures by building towers at strategic points around the map.
A sense of bloodlust rages among the people of the lands, driving the region into a state of chaos. Neighboring tribes wage war against each other, vowing to wipe clean that which is heathen and does not pay proper homage to their deities. The beasts of the land are not immune to this hunger for carnage either, and are trained for devastating purposes. Something sinister, perhaps, is at the source of this newfound hatred...
Next post I will talk about what we need to begin building our game framework, and some of the important pieces the WoW environment provides to us already to make our lives a bit easier. 'til then!
