Ever since the launch of World of Warcraft Classic, players the world over have poured their heart, soul, and time into the MMORPG. Several hours ago, the game was experiencing a server outage that was primarily affecting players from the United States. A few hours later, the game developer Blizzard Entertainment has released a statement that confirmed the attack of Denial-of-Service or DDoS attack on servers of WOW classic. They also apologized for the sudden issue and promise to resolve it as soon as possible.
                         
While some gamers are indeed finding that everything is fine now, a number of players commenting on that latest Twitter post are reporting that they are still having issues logging in, or that they might be able to login, but still can’t get into the actual game. Other reports indicate issues still persisting in the US, the Oceanic region, and Malaysia, with some gamers also complaining that they can’t log in to Battle.net at all. Some online services continue to be impacted by a series of DDoS attacks which are resulting in high latency and disconnections, Blizzard explained in a tweet. "These disruption effects have been felt by a portion of our players, impacting their gaming experience. Thank you again for your continued patience."

We’re guessing this is most likely someone just pissed off that the queue to get into World Of Warcraft Classic has been so long since launch, they decided to be petty and make it so no one could play the game. Or at least, drive enough people away from it for a few days until they could create a big enough gap to get in faster. Or hey, could just be another internet Joker acting as an agent of chaos.
