Designers of the popular space-based MMO, EVE Online, are thinking to go beyond the PC, to expand to other platforms such as consoles and mobile phones. We at IntoMobile.com don¡¯t care much about consoles, hence it¡¯s the second part we¡¯ll discuss here.

Hear that? An iPhone app is in the queue, or at least that¡¯s the way I read this. Now, this doesn¡¯t mean the full blown desktop experience will be available on the iPhone. Rather I guess initially users will be able to check their stats, trade, and/or chat with other users to keeping up with events. That by itself is a good starting point, don¡¯t you think?
