Yesterday Everquest II was updated with "Elements of Corruption." This update overhauls the area of Lavastorm, by adding a whole new beach area where void creatures encroach on Najena's land. In response Najena has decked out the lava elementals with new armor. This area features over 20 new quests for levels 45-55.

This update also includes a series of new dungeons such as: "The Palace of the Ancient One" for tradeskillers, "Najena's Ward of Elements" for up to 12 adventurers, and "Munzok's Material Bastion" for full raid groups.

This update also includes Guild Hall Trophies, eq2 plat where the decapitated heads of raid bosses may be displayed proudly.
