WoW Gold-Shadow Cleave Overrated For Live Play |
|
Playing the weakest class on SK-100, and without the optimal gear set-up (double sinister revenge and engineering), you really can't afford to make many mistakes in a season as competitive as S5 and still expect to get the coveted gladiator title. Sunday night, my DK/rogue/paladin team hit top 20 in our BG, before tanking 100+ points when we brought in shadow cleave to get our warlock a bit more PR.wow gold Greed is what killed the American financial system, and I swear if I can cleave my way back to top 20, I am done for the season. RDP is a very shaky comp and it relies on the element of surprise to beat stronger comps in WoW. Unfortunately I am not sure if I can get the team back up there with the high end teams all queing up for season end. On paper, shadow cleave is supposed to be the best comp since sliced bread. But in reality? It takes more to play the comp at a high level than people give it credit for. The comp is only dominant on American TRs, mostly due to the fact that America produces more quality warlocks than Brazil for soccer players in WoW.wow gold It is not a popular comp at all in EU/Asia, and it is certainly not a top comp on live. Buying cheaper WoW Gold is not an easy job. Heck, it has been losing steam on American TR as well, with Twixz/Ramius's PHD finally topping it like Koreans have been doing for a long time. For live play, the warlock and paladin for that matter have to deal with far greater burst damage that comes from PVE gear like double sinister revenge, and more importantly, triple engineer nukes with gnomish lightning generator every 60 seconds. I am a big fan of Shinaiganz, the warlock hero who single-handedly carried the class when it was at its weakest. But it looks like even his shadow cleave team is out of deadly gladiator contention, as the engineer RMP in his BG opened a 100+ point lead on him, a lead that is nearly insurmountable as other top teams in his BG will almost certainly turtle when they have no hope of reaching deadly. |
