If you're a BioShock fan with a taste for video game novelizations, then Gamasutra has some good news for you: Sci-fi book publisher Tor, home of classics such as Robert Jordan's "Wheel of Time" series, has put out their late 2009 book catalog, and within its pages contains a teaser for a BioShock novel to be released this fall.
The teaser doesn't reveal much, but the book will be in both hardback and paperback form and may possibly be written by 2K Boston creative director Ken Levine himself. eve isk He is credited as the author in the catalog's index, but it's not clear whether this is in reference to his writing or his concepts which are used in the novel.
It won't be the only video game novel that Tor is planning to publish - EVE: The Burning Life, based off the MMO EVE Online, will be also be published in the fall, and the first of a trilogy of Halo novels from Greg Bear will hit store shelves in 2010.
