After I grew tired of getting rolled by Frost DKs in 2s while getting healed by a Hatefully geared Priest, I decided to try 3s. This proved to be as fun as it had been, although my perspective of the game changed quite a bit--I'd never played 3v3 seriously on anything but a Mage in WoW. I quickly learned that I needed to wear a significant amount of resilience no matter how slippery I was; when I got swapped to, I would go down quickly. Buying cheaper WoW Gold is not an easy job.
So what the heck is special about Rogue/x 2v2 or Rogue/x/x 3v3? Nothing. However, this week I'll be getting my weapons, both main and offhand, and there must be something special about Rogue 2v2 or 3v3 after that (getting weapons); I cannot wait. I've never played a rogue at or near the gear cap because I was always too lazy to grind the honor but I expect that things will start melting in front of me--I've heard rumors that when you get your T2 weapon(s), you no longer need to think while playing in WoW.
However, I'd like to think that there's a little more going on than just facerolling post-2350, so I'm going to make some sort of video to show the contrary. I am playing Mage/Rogue, R/M/P, and Rogue/Priest. I haven't looked at Warcraft Movies much lately, but I'd expect that there aren't too many Rogue videos with duels, 2v2, or 3v3 matchups broken down with commentary like in Dahis's latest video.
So, a part of the reason for this blog is finding out whether some sort of calling for high-rated Rogue matches exists. With streaming being as big as it is, I'd expect there to be less video releases. Seeing as how I cannot stream currently, I'd like to produce some sort of high-quality video to distribute. So leave some feedback in comments if you want to see an instructional video with some of the harder comps for Rogue/Mage Rogue/Priest or RMP to beat!
